Terms & Services

• NHK Logistics operates as a freight forwarder and logistics service provider, arranging and coordinating transportation and related services through licensed carriers, shipping lines, airlines, trucking operators, and authorized agents.
• All services are rendered in accordance with applicable international conventions, local laws, and industry standards, including guidelines issued by the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA), customs authorities, port authorities, civil aviation authorities, and maritime regulators.

• All quotations issued by NHK Logistics are indicative and non-binding unless expressly confirmed in writing. Rates are subject to change due to carrier tariff adjustments, fuel surcharges, port and terminal charges, customs duties, regulatory changes, or variations in shipment details.
• Pricing is finalized upon receipt and verification of complete shipment information, in line with standard freight forwarding practices recognized by FIATA.

• Clients are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and lawful shipment information, including cargo description, weight, dimensions, value, and supporting documentation.
• Clients must comply with all applicable laws and regulations imposed by relevant authorities and international bodies, including customs administrations, the International Maritime Organization (IMO), International Air Transport Association (IATA), and FIATA-recommended standards.
• NHK Logistics shall not be liable for delays, penalties, losses, or additional costs arising from incorrect, incomplete, or non-compliant information supplied by the client.

NHK Logistics may subcontract transportation and related services to third-party carriers and agents. Liability for loss, damage, or delay shall be limited in accordance with the applicable carrier's terms, international transport conventions, and FIATA Model Rules for Freight Forwarding Services, including but not limited to:

• • Hague-Visby Rules or applicable maritime conventions
• • Montreal Convention / Warsaw Convention for air carriage
• • CMR Convention for international road transport

Cargo insurance is not included unless specifically requested and confirmed in writing. In accordance with FIATA best practices, clients are advised to obtain adequate cargo insurance coverage to safeguard their interests.

Transit times provided are estimates only and do not constitute a guarantee. Delays may occur due to circumstances beyond NHK Logistics' control, including weather conditions, port congestion, customs inspections, security requirements, labor disruptions, or force majeure events, as recognized under international freight forwarding standards and FIATA guidelines.

NHK Logistics conducts its operations in compliance with applicable international trade, transport, and customs regulations, following frameworks and best practices established by recognized industry bodies, including the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA), International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), IMO, IATA, and relevant national authorities.

Compliance with origin and destination country regulations remains the responsibility of the client.
